Hi Folks, having a great time so far here at Copper Mountain. Snow has been falling for the last 48 hours giving us the best skiable terrain in Summit County. Everybody is friendly and wants you to be a success. Accommodation is basic, but comfortable. Food is typical American, bagels for breakfast, potroast and mash for lunch then what ever you can scrape together for dinner washed down with a couple of beers.
Gave my first lesson on Saturday to two Chinese ladies and an American guy. All went well and was given an individual carton of Gatoraid as a tip.
Going to go and see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire this afternoon as it is my day off. I was willing to work 7 days a week but they will not let me, making me take one day off a week.
I have been asked to credit the photo to Christer Sundberg who says he is the greatest Swedish skier here in Copper.
