We parked the van at Juoe Du Loup on 28 th Dec there had been heavy snowfall over christmas so conditions were perfect. After a day on the baby slope for Mark and Claire they were ready for the greens and blues. I pottered around trying to get my confidence back and was soon well away on the new snowblades (mini ski's). My birthday present woolly hat made all the difference to my skiing performance though my hat hair later brought me back down to earth. After our first day we discovered the waste water pipes on the van had frozen at -15 . This meant we were all unable to get a shower so my hat had to stay on my head for 4 days. It also meant we had to wash with baby wipes for the duration. Did we all look attractive on New Year's Eve with our baby soft skin.
Where's the ski instructor?
Ian is above Claire's head falling flat out too busy watching Mark. He was doing so well bless him and achieved the funniest fall of the week. Mark and Claire did great and best of all Claire's outfit was fully co-ordinated.
We always knew the sun shone out of his a---! but this is ridiculous.
A typical sunset view from the van after a day's skiing. A few glasses of vin chaud and we were spangled.
